Driffield Show!

 

Another fantastically successful show this year! We presented demonstrations all through the day and varied the subject to keep things interesting for the crowds. So there wasn't just "wheat to bread - there was Wheat to Scones and Wheat to Raspberry Buns too!

Stuart Bradshaw of E.B Bradshaw and sons (our local flour mill and supplier of our fantastic quality flour) opened each presentation with a summary of how wheat is grown, where wheat it comes from, the milling process as well as identifying all of the different products which contain wheat. Then my team and I stepped in with a demo of what you can do with your flour to produce simple but very tasty treats for yourself at home - and as the crowds will tell you they always taste better when you made them yourself!
